His Height and Silk

His Height and Silk are a couple of imaginary characters that debuted in Hit Comics n. 27 of the Quality Comics. They are the enemies of Kid Eternity. Biography of personalization wikitesto

His Height and Silk are a couple of scam artists. His Height usually wears like an elderly woman, complete with spectacular white hair picked up in a croc, while Silk is an attractive young woman in a tight dress. The two met Kid Eternity in Hit Comics n. 27, but they were immediately defeated by the super-natural hero.

While His Highness was the cover story of Hit Comics n. 28, the duo usually appeared in some flashback stories of 5-6 pages. Their stories were told more than laughter; His Height and Silk almost never work in their work, and their dialogues are often very light. Their last appearance in the Golden Age occurred in Hit Comics n. 57 (March 1949). DC Comicsmodifica wikitesto

His Highness and Silk were two of the characters acquired by DC Comics when he bought Quality Comics. The two made their first appearance in comic strips of DC Comics in World's Finest Comics n. 282 (1982) in a story of Capitan Marvel whose protagonist was Kid Eternity. The comic was released during the period when both character families, and writer E. Nelson Bridwell, decided that Freddy Freeman and Kid Eternity were brothers. In this story, His Highness and Silk joined forces with the longtime enemy of the Marvel Family, Zia Minerva, and tried to use Uncle Dudley as a hedge to steal money from a circus. Their old enemy, Kid Eternity, recognized them, and advised Marvel to neutralize their plan. Voices correlateemodify wikitesto
