Tractic set

The three-dimensional trocaic is a verse of six-meter trocaic Latin poetry, each of which is formed by a trocaic foot and a catalytic trocic metronome.

It was used in archaic times for theatrical works, where it was inserted into songs and parts played. The penultimate foot is usually pure. It is subjected to all possible substitutions in the Trocaic verses. Usually it has a break after the eighth element.

For its presence in theatrical poetry and its structure, one can consider the adaptation of the Greek trocaic tetrameter to the peculiarities of Latin versification.

The metric schema is as follows: — x | — x | — x | — x || — x | — x | — ∪ ∪ Notemodify wikitesto Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto
