Vytautas Mažiulis (Rokėnai, August 20, 1926 - Vilnius, April 11, 2009) was a Lithuanian linguist.
Mažiulis studied classical languages at the University of Vilnius in 1947-1952 and graduated in 1956 from Moscow State University with a thesis on Lithuanian numerals. In 1955 he began working at the University of Vilnius and occupied the Lithuanian language camp in 1968-1973.
In 1965, with Jonas Kazlauskas, he founded the international journal of Baltic linguistics, Baltistica. In 1970, Mažiulis became a member of the "Lithuanian Academy of Sciences" after publishing a monograph on the relationship between the Baltic languages and other Indo-European languages.
