Willem van Mandaléa


Willem van Mandaléa (? - 1226) was a Norman Calabrian crusader who was serving the Kingdom of Jerusalem.

In the Holy Land, he married Agnes van Courtenay, the youngest daughter of Edessa Jocelin III. After his death in 1200, Beatrie van Courtenay, Jocelin's oldest daughter, and her husband Otto von Botenlauben inherited Jocelin's rule. With permission from Willem van Mandaléa, Otto sold the country to the German Order in 1220. Marriage and children
