The Latin mutatis mutandis literally means "after changing what needs to be changed". Often this means that you do not repeat a text completely, but to the reader / listener says: change it at those points where it needs to be changed. Thus, for example, a description of an occupation in the male form (teacher) contains words like "he", "to him", "are", ... Thus, in the description in the female form (teacher), only the male pronouns (adjectives) to be modified.
