Johanna van Hesse-Darmstadt


Johanna Marina Eleonora (Darmstadt, 20 September 1936 - 14 June 1939) was a princess of Hesse and the Rhine.

She was the youngest child and the only daughter of George Donatus from Hessen-Darmstadt and his wife, Cecilia of Greece, a sister of the British Prince Philip.

At a very young age, she lost her parents and brothers, who died at the crash at Ostend in 1937.
