Josef Sangl (Ingolstadt, 1927) is a German composer, conductor and music educator.
LifecycleSangl studied at the Richard-Strauss Conservatory in Munich, including music education, music theory and composition. He became a music teacher at the gymnasium and an intern at the Abbey of Ettal.
As conductor, he was associated with the Musikkapelle Farchant e.V. from 1976 to 1995. near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In addition to performances in and around Farchant, he also organized concerts in Großrohrheim in the German state of Hesse and Hannover, the capital of the German state of Lower Saxony.
