Manfredo Settala

Icon of Blessed Manfredo Settala venerated in the Eremo degli Angeli.

Manfredo Settala (Milan, XII century - Monte San Giorgio, January 27, 1217) was an Italian presbyter, considered blessed.

At the end of the 12th century it was parish priest of Cuasso, belonging to the diocese of Milan. He then retired to Monte San Giorgio to lead life from a hermit. He had fame of holiness and the peoples of nearby areas came to him to seek advice and seek comfort. It is said that when he died, in the hour of death the bells of neighboring countries were miraculously playing at the same time. Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto Voices correlateemodify wikitesto
