Marshemoglobinurie

Marshemoglobinuria is the occurrence of hemoglobin in the urine (~ hemoglobinuria) after prolonged walking or running. The phenomenon may occur in athletes and soldiers who have marked or disturbed distant distances, especially with hard soles on hard surfaces. In this case, free hemoglobin can be detected in the urine. It is believed to be caused by the fact that blood cells in capillaries break into the soles of the feet when walking through mechanical staining. Such mechanical hemolysis can also occur in spot red blood cells elsewhere in the body. Thus, it is known that motorcrossers who are constantly shocking the carrots can exhibit similar hemoglobinuria.
