Noclip is a cheat command in some computer games that prevents a player from colliding with other objects. In combination with a free moving camera position, the player can fly through walls, vehicles and other players. In multi-player games, it is often only the administrator who has this cheat command. This cheat was especially familiar with the Doom computer game, in which "idclip" had to be typed into the console to trigger the cheat. The prefix id was a to the game developer, id Software.
