The Segona Divisió is a class in Spanish (Catalan) basketball. The competition, together with the Primera Divisió, is the senior contest of Federació Catalana de Korfbal. The Segona Divisió consists of two groups in the 2007-2008 season.
Season 2008-2009For the 2008-2009 season, the participating clubs have attempted to finish the league in one group so that more matches can be played. Compared to the previous season, Castellbisbal, which is taking part in the highest level, is missing the Primera Divisió. K.E.C.A. (the second team of Primera club S.L.C.A.) also does not participate in the 2008-2009 competition. New are the second team of Castellbisbal, Castellbisbal B and the new club AEE IES Josep Lladonosa from Lleida. The participation of the club from Lleida occasionally takes place for a double match of this team in one competition award. This makes the great distance between Lleida and the Terrassa area (where most of the other clubs come from) better for the team and the opponents.
