The Nijverheid (Sint Maartensdijk)

The Nijverheid is a corn mill in Sint Maartensdijk in the Dutch province of Zeeland.

The mill was built in 1868. Until 1966 the mill was ground. In that year, the last occupational grower sold the mill to the former municipality of Sint Maartensdijk, which was merged with the municipality of Tholen in 1971. After a restoration in 1985, a volunteer miller regularly operates the mill.

The mill's rows are almost 22 meters long and are equipped with the Oudhollands fence with sails. The mill is decorated with two pairs of millstones. 51° 33′ 22″ NB, 4° 4′ 39″ OL
