Electrokinese (derived from "electro", electricity, and the Greek word κίνησις, "kinesis" meaningful movement) is the gift to generate or manipulate electricity through thoughts. It is seen as a branch of telekines, along with better known gifts such as pyrokinian (the gift to make and manipulate fire) and telekinese (the gift to move or influence an object with your thoughts). This definition of electrochinese refers strictly to the gift found in fiction and not the study of electrohydrodynamics, whatever the term uses.
