Krumping

Krumping is an energetic and acrobatic hip hop dance form, which also uses mime and wild African tribal dance. Krumping is intended as an exhaust valve for all the aggression that youngsters are facing.

The first clown dancer was Thomas Johnson, a former drug dealer who created his alter ego Tommy the Clown after the riots in 1992 in South Central, Los Angeles, California. His "followers" made themselves themselves as clowns and danced their fights instead of violence.

In the documentary Rize of photographer and filmmaker David LaChapelle is an image of the subculture of clown dancing. The documentary was broadcast in 2004 at the Sundance Film Festival.

Also in the movie Be Cool and Stomp the Yard is a crumbling.
