Maurizio Ceresoli


Maurizio Ceresoli (Modena, May 25, 1983) is an Italian car driver.

His first serious race year was 2002, when he was driving in the Italian Formula Ford. In his first season, he became second. The following year he became fifth and then went to the Italian Formula 3 championship in 2004. Here he rode two seasons, finishing 9th and 5th, both years for the Passoli Team team. WTCC

In 2006, he participated in the WTCC, he spent a whole season for the independent team GR Asia in a Seat Toledo team mate of Tom Coronel. However, from round 13 he drove into a new Seat Leon. His best result was a 14th place in the first race at Brands Hatch. He finished fifth among the independents and 31st in the normal championship. In 2007, he remained in the Seat Leon for GR Asia in the WTCC, but only drove from the fifth round on the Ricardo Tormo Valencia circuit. He also rode in the European Touring Car Cup.
