Sietze Dolstra


Sietze Dolstra (Amsterdam, May 29, 1946 - Zandvoort, July 4, 2015) was a Dutch cabaretist and singer. Career

From his 16th, he performed his own texts and self-written music, with Toon Hermans being his great example. During his studies in Dutch and teacher education he also performed. In 1976, he brought the LP Today is again yesterday and in 1979 the album Twee Levens came out and worked in the following years as a writer for programs like Kwistig with Music, Bananasplit, Radar and Z @ ppsport. In his career, he received a Silver Harp and the Prix de Monaco for European radio entertainment. In the aftermath of his career, he wrote texts for various artists and companions, and eventually a book about his own family.
