Seifert became a member of the Military Chapel of the Line Infantry Regiment in 1844. 12. In 1846 he became the chapel of this orchestra. In 1861 this music chapel was transferred to Wolfsberg (Carinthia). During this stay, the most famous composition of Seifert originated, the Kärtner Liedermarsch, opus 80. Further cities of this regiment were Olomouc, Komárno and Krakow, where Seifert died in 1873. Publications
