Arie van Erk (Bergambacht, 31 October 1957) is a Dutch politician.
In 1994 he joined the local party in the municipal council of Bergambacht and, after being chairman of the group, Van Erk became an elder in 2002. He was the locomotive champion of Bergambacht when mayor Hans Oosters was appointed dijkgraaf of the Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland and the Krimpenerwaard. On 1 September 2005, Van Erk was appointed Mayor. Since 2 December 2014 he is the mayor of Hillegom (South Holland). Trivia
