The Institute Laue-Langevin, abbreviated ILL, is an international research center in Grenoble, France. The institute was founded in 1967 and was named after the scientists Max von Laue and Paul Langevin. ILL houses one of the world's most intense neutron sources, and since the 1993-1995 innovations, the reactor has recorded the record for largest continuous flux of neutrons, being 1.5 × 10 neutrons per second per cm², with thermal power of 58.3 MW.
