Spring Theater is a theater event taking place in Castrovillari, Calabria.
The festival is organized by Scena Verticale since its first edition in 1999, under the artistic direction of Saverio La Ruina and Dario De Luca and the organizational direction of Settimio Pisano.
In 2009 he received the Ubu Prize Special Award directed by Franco Quadri with the motivation: Spring Theater, a historic festival devoted to the discovery and valorisation of young theater groups with special attention to what happens in the South, directed and guided by love from Vertical Scene at Castrovillari, with an extensive audience participation of every class, as is rarely the case for these events.
