Cavern Club

The Cavern Club

Cavern Club is a club in Liverpool that has existed since January 16, 1957. The club is especially famous for The Beatles who performed here for the first time on August 2nd, 1961, and later became known on November 9, 1961 their later manager Brian Epstein. The cover band The Cavern Beatles is named here.

One of the Beatles, Ringo Starr, had previously appeared in the club, on May 25, 1960 with the band Rory Storms and the Hurricanes, his band at that time.

The Cavern Club was discontinued in 1983. Five thousand stones were auctioned, including museums such as the Egri Road Beatles Múzeum in Hungary and Museo Beatle in Argentina. Also see
