Constantine I (... - ...) was a Judge of Gallura and ruled roughly between 1065 and 1100.
He was probably a member of the noble Della Gherardesca family, originally from the Republic of Pisa, further emphasizing the strong ties of the judged with the Tuscan city.
Constantine supported the Gregorian reform of the Church, promoted in Sardinia by the Archdiocese of Pisa, and there is a document concerning these bonds: in 1073 Pope Gregory VII sent him a letter with which he reaffirmed, among other things, papal supremacy on the four Sardinian judges.
According to legend Costantino was the father of Francesca Chica, who married Enrico di Cinarca, a powerful nobleman of Corsica.
