Siebel Systems, Inc. was a software house that mainly focused on design, development, marketing and CRM application support. The company was founded by Thomas Siebel in 1993.
Initially, the main products were sales force automation (SFA), however, the business scope expanded to include the whole CRM market. Since the late '90s, Siebel has become the market leader in CRM solutions, covering 45% of the market in 2002.
