Weapon of the genus Van Wittenhorst
Wolfaart Evert van Wittenhorst (after 1575 - May 1619) was a Dutch driver and nobleman of the Van Wittenhorst family.
Van Wittenhorst was born as a son of Walraven van Wittenhorst, Mr. van Horst, Kessel's ambassador and drowned to Mediator, and Margaretha van Doerne. In 1606 he succeeded his grandfather as Mr. van Deurne.
He was married to Josina Margaretha van Malsen; In 1603 and 1604 two children were born of this marriage. In addition, he developed a daughter at Magdalena Staels. After his death in 1619 he was succeeded by his daughter Margreta, who also became a woman of Rossum and Broekhuizen as a successor to her mother.
