Hans Emmering (1 July 1939 - 4 October 2008) was a Dutch journalist, presenter and program maker.
As a writer journalist, Emmering started working for The Free People. Later he wrote for HP / De Tijd, Vrij Nederland and Humo.
He was also active for the radio and television. At VARA he was both a presenter and reporter. He was also a producer and editor of programs and did work as a voice over. He became familiar with the consumer program, How It Works, in which social misdemeanors were satirically denounced. The VARA dispatched it from the mid-seventies to the beginning of the eighties.
Two of his daughters suffer from DES syndrome. He wrote the book DES interest that was published by Augustus in August.
Hans Emmering died at the age of 69.
