Joe Long

Joe Long, Joseph LaBracio's Art Name (Elizabeth, September 5, 1941), is a US bassist.

He is known for his militancy in The Four Seasons.

He studied with Alfonse Strazza, the first bassist in the New York Philharmonic, but a serious hand defect led him to play Fender instead of the traditional bass. He then listened to rock music and became part of The Four Seasons as a substitute for Charles Calello who in turn temporarily replaced Nick Massi. After this experience he founded the LaBracio jazz band and later the Jersey Bounce.
