Osterley Park

Osterley Park

Osterley Park is a country house situated in a large park area with the same name in London Borough of Hounslow, a western suburb of London.

In its construction, this was still a complete rural area. It was one of the major homes that built rich families around London. They were not rural homes in the traditional sense because they did not manage a vast agricultural area.

Originally built in 1576, Robert Adam was converted into neoclassical style and completely redecorated in the 18th century.

The park is one of the largest remaining open spaces in West London. The space is disturbed by the M4 motorway that intersects the park. The current owner is the National Trust.
