'Abd Allāh ibn Ubayy b. Salūl (in Arabic: عبد الله بن أبي بن سلول), also called Ibn Salūl in to his mother, was one of the main leaders of the Banat Khazraj tribe of Yathrib, the future Medina. He converted to Islam shortly after arriving in the city of Muhammad in 622. According to Ibn Ishaq and Tabarî, Muhammad was distrustful of him, suspecting that his sincerity was purely superficial.
