In 1905/06, the second Braunschweig football championship was played, organized by the football federation for the Duchy of Braunschweig. Eintracht Braunschweig became champion. Due to the establishment of the North German Football Association, the club did not go straight to the final round for the German national title like the previous year, but first passed the North German final round.
