The "bomb" symbol of the dramatic Academy of the Influenced, at the entrance of the Niccolini Theater in Florence
The Dramatic Academy of Firefighters was established in Florence by Don Lorenzo de 'Medici in the Casino on Corsini lungarno.
When the Casino, together with the Houses of Dino Compagni, of the Minerbetti and of the Ardinghelli, was destroyed to build the Corsini Palace, the Academy moved to the houses of the Ughi in via del Cocomero, today via Ricasoli, where the theater of the Cocomero was built, then the theater Niccolini. In this theater classical tragedies and comedies were featured.
The Academy's motto was "infatuated at times" and it had as a symbol a bomb, which can still be seen above the lunette of the entrance to the theater.
The dramatic Academy of Firemen then went under the direction of Giovan Carlo de 'Medici.
The Infuocati Academy was rebuilt by the entrepreneur Maruro Pagliai at the reopening of the Niccolini Theater at the end of 2015. The aim of the association is to organize cultural events in the theater. Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto
