Fambaré Ouattara Natchaba (Gando, April 17, 1945) is a Togolean politician who served as General Chairman of the National Assembly under General Étienne Eyadéma.
During the death of President Étienne Eyadéma on February 5, 2005, Ouattara was in Europe. According to the constitution of Togo, after the death of the head of state, the parliamentary chairman must take over the interim presidency of the country. A military coup, however, prevented him from taking over the interim presidency. The soldiers installed Faure Eyadéma, son of General Eyadéma as president. Ouattara, which Togo can not do because the borders of the country are closed, has been extended to Benin.
