Gallmotor

Gallmotor is an Italian historical brand of auxiliary engines.

The Italian technicians Galimberti and Chiarini from Padua presented this innovative 42cc two-stroke auxiliary engine in 1954. He could run on both diesel and gasoline because of the variable compression. Via a rotary knob it could be adjusted from 1: 8 to 1: 18. The engine could be completely disassembled within a few minutes with a screwdriver and two wrenches. Although the industry was enthusiastic, Galimberti and Chiarini only started serial production two years later. Probably this was too late, making it unsuccessful.
