The Jerry Lewis Show

The Jerry Lewis Show was a 1963 show presented by Hollywood comic / actor Jerry Lewis from Hollywood. In this show, Phil Foster was temporarily Lewis's sidekick.

Specially for this show, Lewis bought the "El Capitan Theater", adapted its installation, renamed "The Jerry Lewis Theater" and presented the show from that theater. During the show (which had a high budget), Lewis interviewed, among others, Muhammad Ali (still called Cassius Clay), sang his song The Birth of the Blues and the Soul singer Sam Cooke performed during the Lewis show.

Due to disappointing views, the show lasted for three months with existence. The theater from which this show was presented was later used for the Hollywood Palace show.
