United State Bus Services VAD

A line bus of the VAD, No. 3931.

The United States United Autobus Services VAD was a Dutch public transport company that was created on January 1, 1981 by the merger of the Veluwse Auto Service with the Flevodienst. In 1982, the city service was taken over in Zwolle van Schutte. A year later, the city service of the company Nefkens in Amersfoort was added to the VAD. The growth of Almere and Zeewolde grew the line network in Flevoland in the 80's. In 1994, the VAD was incorporated into the Midnet merger company. Logo

At the merger of 1981, the logos of the "Veluwse" VAD and the Flevodienst, which already showed some resemblance, were brought together. The graphic part was fully taken over by the Flevodienst, while the textual part "VAD" was a legacy of the Veluwse VAD. Equipment Literature
