Kazou is the youth organization of Christian Mutuality (CM) and has the main purpose of organizing vacations for children and adolescents from 7 to 18 years. In winter the emphasis is on winter sports. About 8,000 volunteers participate annually in the organization of youth vacations.
In addition to organizing regular summer and winter vacations, Kazou also focuses on inclusion and JOMBA activities (Children's Specials and Special Attention) for young people with disabilities, behavioral disorder or other constraints. Kazou is also involved in organizing courses for the training of own monitors, hood monitors and instructors. These courses are recognized by the Flemish government.
The organization was created in 1947 under the name of Preventive Air Cures. Under the influence of May'68, the organization was renewed and became the name Youth & amp; Health adopted.
