Johannes Hubertus (Johan) Berben, also referred to as J.H. Berben, Joh. H. Berben and J.H.J. Berben (Boxmeer, January 20, 1883 - Veghel, April 30, 1941), was an architect of the Roman Catholic church in Breda.
The churches that he built are often characterized by expressionistic brick architecture. Historic elements, as derived from the Gothic style, are stylized. It is generally Christocentric churches, who know a large and wide ship that offers an unimpeded sight on the altar events. Some works
