Theo Verlangen (The Hague, June 9, 1941) is a former Dutch footballer and football coach.
Wishing played for ADO The Hague and Holland Sport. He started as an assistant trainer at Feyenoord. When Theo Desired in 1977 from Rotterdam to Groningen came as a trainer, he included Peter Houtman, among others, from Feyenoord. One of the highlights that Theo Verlangen achieved with FC Groningen was the Championship of the First Division and the related promotion to the Eredivisie in 1980. In 1983, Theo Verlangen was succeeded by Han Berger. In total, Theo Verlangen sat 236 games on the bench as coach of FC Groningen.
