China Television


China Television (CTV) is a public television company in Republic of China (Taiwan). It was founded in 1968 by the Guomindang. From 1969 to 1975, society was called Taiwan Daytime TV. The Guomindang managed most media at the time. It had the island's first color television channel.

On August 9, 1999, the company came on Taiwan's stock market list. In 2006, ninety percent of the shares were sold to China Times media group because a new law moderated the ownership of political parties in the media.

CTV is currently the largest television company in the Republic and has two television channels: CTV News Channel and CTV MyLife. The feed language is Standard basket.
