Like his style, Job Covatta translates into the past the modern inventions and follies of today's society, and creates an absurd "alternative past", presenting first newspaper pages - wholly drawn from his sketches in the 2004 edition of Never Say Monday-where, for example, it is normal to find the Unity who writes a denunciation article on the Trojan War titled "Bombarded the hotel journalists. Homer wounded in the eyes," and where it is legitimate to wonder if Carthage would have caught the title of "rogue state".
