The platform on the Blue line
Jackson is a Chicago subway station complex.
The complex consists of two underground island perrons on the blue and red line connected with a pedestrian tunnel.
The station name refers to the nearby Jackson Boulevard. The blue line platform is located below (South) Dearborn Street and that of the Red (South) State Street.
The Harold Washington Library-State / Van Buren station is located on The Loop on the brown, orange, purple and pink metro lines.
