Pod Zegarem was a Nazi's martyr center in Lublin during the Second World War. History "Under the Clock" - the museum building

During Operation Reinhard, the destruction of the Polish Jews, all Jews near Lublin were housed in Lublin's ghetto. The Jews were quickly deported to the newly established destruction camps, such as Bełżec. Near the clock tower in the center was the martyr center. The Gestapo had built cells in the cellar of this building, in which prisoners were questioned. Even after the ghetto liquidation in 1942, the torture center remained in use. In 1944 the martyr center was closed.

The Muzeum Martyrologii Pod Zegarem Museum is currently located in the building.
