Anne Bonnet, born Anne Thonet (Brussels, May 16, 1908 - Brussels, 14 November 1960) was a Belgian artist who initially painted figuratively and later developed into a poetic abstract painting. She was co-founder of La Route Libre and Jeune Peinture Belge. She was also a member of Art of Present.
Initially, she painted children's portraits and port and cityscapes. Under the influence of the painter Brusselman and inspired by Piet Mondriaan and Paul Klee, she developed into a soft abstract painting with a very poetic atmosphere, using many gray and octave tones mixed with soft shades.
