AnziBesson

The AnziBesson brand was born in 1976. Reduce from a second place in the Kitzbühel descent, Stefano Anzi and Giuliano Besson say goodbye to competitions and at the age of 25 and 26 respectively they founded the company. The brand has been very successful in the field of technical clothing for skiing. Windy jackets and elasticated trousers are produced for the "colleagues" of the National and for many ski clubs. At the end of the eighties Stefano Anzi leaves his share, but the brand, with Giuliano and his brother Carlo Besson, continues to grow up to supply technology leaders to the Austrian National and produce - in the nineties - certain ski models signed Pininfarina. Some time later, Giuliano Besson signs an agreement with an Austrian investment fund and the Piedmont brand moves away from Italy. But between Besson and the Austrian management there are differences, and in September 2009 Besson renounces the agreement. On January 27, 2010, the BasicNet group acquires 50% of AnziBesson, becoming its sole and exclusive worldwide licensor. On December 22, 2016, the BasicNet Group - after deciding to focus all the winter sports collections on the Kappa brand - will surrender its shares to the Besson family, which thus resumes the full possession of the brand.
