Graduated in Turin in 1967. Thanks to his research in the field of experimental design and the expressive possibilities of new materials, he became the creative director of Gufram from 1966 to 1970. The innovative pieces created by Giuseppe Raimondi and his artistic direction , contribute to giving the company an international reputation. For Gufram, in 1966, he produced the artist Ugo Nespolo, Margherita, a table with modular armchairs, later the Alvar (1967) and Mozza (1968) armchairs. Subsequently, the curiosity towards the new materials brings him to work with Cristal Art and Saint-Gobain, realizing a series of mirrors, tables and lamps that play with the reflection of shapes and light. Besides working in the field of textiles, office furniture and ceramics, he also works in the field of lighting, producing for Valenti the lamp on Miriade cables. In 1970 he founded the A.ba.co studio with others and in 1977 opened his own studio in Turin. As an architect he cares for the construction of the Historical Tire Room at the Carlo Biscaretti Car Museum. In 1987 he was among the winners of the Compasso d'Oro with Dolphin chair produced by Bontempi; His pieces are present in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The passion for design leads him to engage in teaching and dissemination. He often writes for magazines such as Domus, Casabella, Abitare. In 1992 he published Abitare Italia.
