Wilhelmus Antonius (Wim) de Pater S.C.I. (Scheveningen, February 25, 1930 - September 3, 2015) was a Dutch professor of logic and language philosophy.
After his dissertation at Bocheński in Friborg about the arguments of Aristotle and Plato, he studied contemporary analytical philosophy and the use of language in theology. From 1968 to his graduate in 1994, he taught logic, language philosophy and history of analytical philosophy in Tilburg at the Common Institute of Theology in Tilburg and thereafter at the Higher Institute of Philosophy (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven).
