Juice Crew

Juice Crew was an American rap group founded in 1980 by Marley Marl and DJ Mr. Magic. They were able to hold a contract at Cold Chillin Records. The group came largely from Queens, one of the four districts of New York.

In 1984, Cabbage G Rap, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane and Roxanne Shante joined. Later Graig G, TJ Swan and Masta Ace followed. The group was aimed primarily at dissociating against KRS-One, but there were also music tracks that were unrelated to KRS-One. Later the quarrel was completed and many members of the Juice Crew also made songs with KRS-One.

In 1983 (Marley Marl and DJ Magic were only members) they released their first single. In 1986, they released the single Beat Bitter, which later disagreement with LL Cool J in connection with stealing the song. That difference of opinion was also added later.
