Kris Roemers (1975) is a Belgian composer, music educator, conductor and hornist.
LifecycleRoemers received lessons for horn, piano and harmonious at the North Limburg Institute of Art Education at Neerpelt. He studied at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven and at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels and obtained his Master of Music as an executive musician (hornist). At the Maastricht Conservatory he studied HaFa Management at Jan Cober and obtained his 2nd Bachelor and then Master's degree in 2007.
For several years he was connected to the Flemish Radio Orchestra. As a freelance hornist he was among others active at the orchestra of the Royal Ballet of Flanders, Prima La Musica and Il Novecento. As conductor, he is associated with Harmony Orchestra Arti from Oirschot.
