Limburgs Landschap vzw


Limburgs Landschap vzw is a site-managing nature association active in the Belgian province of Limburg. This association focuses on the purchase and management of natural areas and nature experiences and has about 2500 hectares (2016) of nature in control.

The association was founded in 1971, with the primary aim of saving the Stramproier pants, which was endangered with destruction. From 1985 the association received purchase subsidies from municipal and provincial authorities and from the Flemish Community.
