Maja Tatić


Maja Tatić (Serbian: Маја Татић) (Belgrade, October 30, 1970), is a Serbian singer. As a seven-year-old girl she won a children's festival for the first time. She studied guitar at the lower music school. With seventeen years, she began her professional career as a singer. She sang in bands like Monaco, Sonus and Skitnice.

Tatic went to the Canary Islands in 1992. She performed there with songs by ABBA, Tina Turner and Shania Twain. That work she did for eight years.

In 2002 she won the Bosnian national finals for the Eurovision Song Contest and represented Bosnia and Herzegovina with the song Na jastuku za dvoje during the international finals. After that she participated in various festivals in and around the Balkans.
