Oblast Mañğıstaw (Kazakhs: Маңғыстау облысы, Mañğıstaw oblısı) is an oblast in Kazakhstan. Geographically, the province is located in the extreme southwest of the country, between the eastern shore of the Caspian Sea and the Karakalpakstan sub-district in Uzbekistan. The capital of the oblast is Aqtau, another big city is Zhangaözen. The entire oblast has a population of 607,000 inhabitants.
The Oblast is organized in 7 units: 5 districts (ауданы) and 2 - district-like cities (Қ.Ә.).
